It’s been a while since I tested out some CBD gummies, I really do miss this. I recently reviewed the Natural Strains CBD oil, then gave myself 3 weeks of testing with these gummies to see how they performed.
How Do They Taste?
Ok, ok, ok, the focus of this shouldn’t be on taste, I get that, but let’s be realistic, after every review of CBD gummies, 90% of comments, emails and messages I get surround the taste of them. People simply want to know how they are so that they won’t dread taking them every day.
Well I am very happy to say they were incredibly tasty! Almost too delicious, stopping at one was very hard. I had to hide them in the other room and fight the temptation to crack open the pack again. This certainly was something I looked forward to eating each evening, while with the presence of sugar, I decided to test them occasionally in the morning instead, alongside my kefir (a nice fat-containing side boost).
How Many Are In A Pack?
I have 30 gummies in the pack, ideal if you want to take one per day for the month. Gummy bears are certainly a lot easier to dose than drops, that’s for sure!
They do offer different size bags and different strength gummies, so you can optimise this for your personal requirements, such as they have bags with 15 or 60 gummies
How Much CBD Do You Get?
The pack states 45mg of CBD per gummy, while the lab report shows 43.64mg per gummy, with a further 2.37mg of CBG.
It should however be stated that the pack I have doesn’t have the batch report number printed on the packaging, so I cannot say for certain that the gummies I’m reviewing match the 281025-3 batch.
The lab report is run by Adact Medical LTD, a UK based analytical testing laboratory, which is positive as it means they have to meet UK standards, with ISO/IEC 17025 accredited cannabinoid testing.
The one limitation is that the lab report doesn’t show further info such as testing against heavy metals, solvents or pesticides, nor does it test for terpenes. However, this is commonplace with gummies, as it often requires CBD distillate so as not to affect the taste.
45mg of CBD is a decent quantity, for most people starting out, you may not need this much, hence why they also sell gummies with 15mg of CBD per bear, which is a good starting point. Personally I used to like 25mg per day and that strength is also available.
I ended up taking about 50-100mg per day when I was testing products every day, but after a long break, I don’t need quite as much for optimal results.
Are They Vegetarian Friendly?
Yes, with that taste and texture you always presume it contains gelatine, but these had pectin, which is a fruit derived vegetarian alternative that works the same way.
Other Types
If gummy bears weren’t your favourite sweet of choice, then they have other options available such as the peach rings, cherry drops and strawberry hearts, I used to love eating peach rings, they were definitely a kryptonite for me.
On the other hand, you need to remind yourself that these aren’t sweets, these are to help you and you need to stick to a set dosage, so don’t get tempted to keep nibbling at them after you’ve taken the required amount.
Where Can I Buy Them From?
You can order the Natural Strains CBD Gummies from their website, while they offer same day dispatch if you order before 4pm, plus you can get free delivery if you spend over £50, so could be worth ordering a couple of packs at once to save you money in the long run.
