I’m a self-confessed advocate of Supreme CBD, one of my favourite brands from the UK, so I’m always delighted to try some of their products in their vast range.

Over the past week, I have been trying the high strength CBD gummy bears, which is always difficult to hold yourself back from. So read on for my full review and do let me know if you have any questions at all.

How Strong Are They?

Looking through the CBD Gummies section of the Supreme CBD website is like going through a Newsagents as a child, you can’t keep your eyes away from all the different ‘sweets’ and they all look so tantalisingly tasty!

From bottles to cherries, strawberries to peach rings, but today I’m focusing on one shape, the traditional gummy bears.

The number of gummies in a pack and the amount of CBD per bear is an important factor which will affect your choice and change the price.

The pack I am reviewing is the ‘super strength’, with 4,800mg in the entire pack and 48mg of CBD in a single gummy. As you can work out, that means you get 100 gummies in a pack, which is a hefty amount. Most packs from other brands contain around 20 gummies, so this is at the top end of quantity, meaning it should last you a considerable amount of time.

On top of this, the average gummy bear with other brands tends to be somewhere between 5-20mg per bear, so once again, this is right at the top end.

However, if you’re working to a tighter budget, you don’t need as much cannabidiol or you simply like to chew on a number of gummies each day, then you might want to opt for one of the other packs they offer.

They have a ‘grab and go’ small pack with 12 gummy bears, each containing 16mg of CBD, meaning 192mg per pack. The step up from this is the 400mg tub, then the 1,600mg and the 3,200mg tub.

How Do They Taste?

Ideally, if we didn’t face so many issues from the FSA, we would have all full spectrum products, but this isn’t as easy as it sounds.

While that is an issue with CBD oil, with gummies you almost want it to be an isolate, as the taste of full or broad spectrum in gummies often doesn’t work so well (trust me, I’ve tried plenty). An isolate means the taste isn’t effected, meaning you can consume plenty of cannabidiol without an overwhelming hemp taste.

These gummies are quite simply incredible, I had to keep my girlfriend’s hands away from the ‘CBD cookie jar’.

I’m always ecstatic when a CBD brand utilises apple as one of the flavours, being one of my favourite flavours, while the others were equally as tasty, including lemon, orange raspberry and sour cherry.

The issue was stopping at one, the FSA recommends going no higher than 70mg of CBD in a day, which means at 48mg per gummy, you could only take one (well, 1 and a half if you don’t mind a half chewed sweet going back in the box).

This actually worked quite well, as I wanted to split my dosage, taking a gummy in the morning before work and a little CBD oil before bed to help me drift off.

But eating just one, it’s like popping Pringles, I have to be honest and say I did ‘double dip’ a few times.

Another benefit to taking one of these gummies in the morning is that they do contain a bit of sugar and glucose syrup, so I want to burn it off through the day, rather than eating them just before bed, so I’d say these are ideal for those that want a boost during the day.

Can I Trust The Brand?

I know one of the main barriers for many people before buying a CBD product is to know whether it comes from a reputable source.

Before making an order, I always recommend asking for the associated lab report, which you should either find on their website or you can email them to request the latest one, which they would be happy to provide.

With any lab report, you want to check that it doesn’t contain anything it shouldn’t, e.g. pesticides or heavy metals, while you also want to double check it contains the stated levels of cannabinoids.

Supreme CBD are a UK based brand, located in Liverpool, while they are GMP-Certified, which for those that don’t know, means they meet the required standards in the production process to GMP standards. This is especially important in the pharmaceutical industry, so is always worth double checking before making an order.

They use Non-GMO crops which are organically grown, which is pivotal as hemp is highly porous and any pesticides used would pass through to the end product in the extraction process.

Where Can I Order Them From?

If you fancy ordering a tub of Supreme CBD 4,800mg CBD gummy bears, you can pick them up directly from their website for £74.99. You can also enjoy a 30% discount with the code ‘SLOTH30’!
