prym-rollon

At the start of November I wrote about the Prym Health CBD Gummies, which beyond tasting delicious, also seem like a really decent product to enter the market.

Well now I’m having a look at their CBD essential roll-on, one of two topical treatments they offer on the Prym Health website.

Why Opt For A Roll On?

While creams and balms are still the most common conventional method of applying CBD topically, roll-ons are slowly starting to make a more notable presence in the CBD world.

Creams can be pretty messy, while if you apply it and then put on clothes then you can feel it compressed against you, which doesn’t always feel great. On the other hand, a roll-on doesn’t leave residue all over your hands and doesn’t leave a sticky feeling on your skin.

Also, the roll on measures 8.5mm by 1.75mm, meaning it will very easily slot into your pocket or in a bag without weighing too much or being uncomfortable to carry around, making it discreet and easily portable. You could easily slot this in your pocket on the way to the gym, applying it after your shower.

What Are The Main Ingredients Present?

As well as the hemp extract, containing CBD and various terpenes, you will also find multiple essential oils, including eucalyptol, grapeseed, frankincense, ylang ylang, lavender, chamomile, grapefruit seed extract and Vitamin E oil.

As highlighted by the lab report, the essential roll on contains 100mg of CBD within the 10ml bottle. For this reason, I would generally recommend being quite generous with your application, to make sure you get enough CBD to the targeted area, so don’t hold back.

Frankincense, This Isn’t Christmas

Frankincense might be best known in the UK as one of the Three Kings of Orient’s gift from school nativity plays, however this genus Boswellia derived resin actually offers a number of benefits.

Frankincense has been nicknamed the ‘king of oils’ due to its versatility, while it is commonly utilised in order to rejuvenate damaged skin. It can calm the effected skin thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties. It also helps to protect the skin cells and improve the elasticity of the skin.

Why Ylang Ylang?

The anti-bacterial ingredient Ylang Ylang essential oil has hydrating properties that can help nourish your skin and regulate sebum production.

Ylang Ylang contains antioxidants, which can help to fight off free radicals, which cause so much damage.

Isn’t Eucalyptus For Colds?

Whenever I have written about eucalyptus, people have often told me they thought it was just a herbal treatment for colds and the flu, so I wanted to shed some light on this powerful component and why it is found in the list of ingredients.

With anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory properties, the oil can help to heal any wounds and alleviate any pain you’re feeling.

Eucalyptus can also provide a cooling sensation, which can take away the feeling of pain in the area, much like menthol.

Being anti-bacterial, it can also help to clean the wound and ensure no infection occurs.

Where Did I Apply It?

While I’m weight training 4 days per week currently, I have a history of shoulder injuries, thanks to a former rotator cuff tear.

Therefore, as well as doing plenty of stretching and warming up before and after each workout, I loved applying the Prym Health CBD Essential Roll-on after getting out of the shower.

I applied the roll-on quite vigorously, to ensure I got enough CBD through to the targeted area, helping to speed up recovery and prevent any damage at all.

Where Can I Order This From?

You can purchase the Prym Health CBD Essential Roll On from their website for £14.99. Of course, with free delivery being on orders over £20, you might want to take a look at the Prym Health CBD oil.
