cbd paste amma life

Following on from the water soluble CBDX and Amma Life CBD Tea, I’ve now been trying the 300mg purified CBD paste by Amma Life. I’ll be honest, I wasn’t sure where to categorise this on the website, as I haven’t used a paste version before, but I do love trying new things!

How Much CBD Do You Get?

The 1 gram CBD paste contains 300mg of purified CBD, utilising the whole plant extract, meaning you can benefit from the entourage effect with the combination of cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids working together in unison.

The lab test results, conducted in September 2019, show that it also contains 0.06% THC, under the 0.2% maximum allowed in the UK. The CBD makes up 26.38 in the test, with a further 3.06 from CBDA. There is a very minor amount of CBC and CBN, but not enough to shout about.

As you can imagine, it is grown from EU industrial hemp, without the usage of pesticides or chemical fertilisers, making it qualify as organic CBD oil. It uses non-GMO crops, it’s 100% natural and it’s suitable for vegans.

How Does It Work?

You squeeze the end of the syringe onto your finger, then rub it under your tongue and hold it there for 1-2 minutes before swallowing the rest. It does state ‘hold for 20 seconds’ but I normally recommend keeping it there for a bit longer to ensure the greatest level of absorption.

On the site it goes into a little more detail in regards to the dosage, where they state the equivalent of 1-3 grains of rice in quantity size. They also highlight that you can take it 1-3 times per day. I personally like to take it first thing in the morning and then 40 minutes before going to bed.

Warning: When I pushed on the syringe it shot it out very quickly and quite a bit went on the floor. It does seem quite sensitive when you push it so make sure to be very careful, so none goes to waste. To avoid this happening, you can simply hold it over your mouth rather than aiming for your finger.

It is interesting that people could make up their own capsules or suppositories using the paste, it’s not something I’ve ever done in the past but I do like the initiative of creating something that would allow you to facilitate for this need.

Once you’ve opened the lid, you should use it within 6 months, while the expiry date on the product I have is 18 months, so plenty of time to use it up.

How Much Does It Cost?

The 1 gram 30% CBD paste costs £21.98, however they have four different size options to choose from. You can get free 1st class postage on the order, being over the minimum £15, while if you wanted it sent to Europe then there is a £4 EU Lite cost or a £7.50 standard delivery charge.
