best life cbd balm

As part of my ever growing range of Best Life Botanical beauty products, I’d recommend having a read of my review of their whippy butter, fizzy bath salts and rejuvenating face serum, while today I’m focusing on their CBD balm.

What’s Included?

There are two options available; Eucalyptus or you can get the lavender & frankincense. Both come in a 15ml jar and contain 300mg of full spectrum CBD. They’re unrefined butters, with no bees wax. The all natural CBD balm has been formulated to contain ingredients that can help with skin conditions & aid pain relief for body aches. It should also be highlighted that it’s completely vegan friendly.

Why Use Frankincense?

I might not be religious myself, but I still remember the biblical stories of how Jesus was gifted with gold, myrrh and, you guessed it, frankincense. So why are we now applying this aromatic serin to our skin? Well for a start, it has anti-inflammatory properties and can help to soothe irritated skin. It’s also known to help prevent acne from forming. It does this thanks to the quantity of boswellic acid found in frankincense. Being a mild oil, it means it can often be applied without any form of irritation or tingling. It’s also a brilliant astringent, meaning skin cells will gain extra protection. But the reason why I’m so interested is because it can also help to tackle wrinkles.

Why Use Eucalyptus?

In a number of studies, the amount of the fatty acid ceramides increased after topical application of eucalyptus. This is important as it led to dry skin recovering in test subjects. You’ll find eucalyptus essential oils in many skin treatments, helping to cleanse and purify the skin, as well as potentially killing any harmful surface bacteria. A brilliant tool to moisturise the skin, this is a key ingredient in this balm.

How Long Will A Jar Last?

It all depends on how often you plan on using the CBD balm and how generous you are with your usage, however you can apply a basic comparison to other beauty products that come in a 15ml size. Not much comes off each time in your hand with a balm, unlike a butter or a moisturiser, therefore it does tend to last quite a long time.

How Much Does It Cost?

Whether you pick frankincense & lavender or eucalyptus, the CBD balm will cost £25 for a 15ml jar. Considering the 300mg of CBD, this is a competitive price.
