Back on the CBD Vaping with a new e-liquid, this time by a new brand Aztec CBD, who launched in 2016 and have continued to introduce an increasing range of products to their arsenal.
How Much CBD Do You Get?
There are four strengths available, but fortunately I’m trying the strongest one at 1,000mg meaning the results were certainly noticeable. The other options are 100, 300 or 500mg.
This is a full spectrum product, meaning it isn’t just CBD you’ll be getting, it is accompanied by all the other various cannabinoids and terpenes that come from the plant. Why is this important? Well you can get a CBD isolate, but there is substantial evidence that they work better when combined together in their natural state, called the entourage effect. What Flavour Is It?
I had to initially look this up, as I don’t smoke marijuana, therefore I wasn’t aware of this indica-dominant mix of grape ape and grapefruit, known as Zkittlez. It’s often pronounced like the sweets skittles, while it was created in Northern California.
It has a very fruity flavour, slightly citrusy as you can imagine. It was also easy on the throat.
How Do You Take It?
The exact same way you would with any other e-liquid, it is premixed and you just need to add it to your vape pen. Give it a shake before adding it.
Is It Vegetarian?
I cannot tell you if it’s vegan friendly, but I can tell you it contains no animal extracts. It also contains no alcohol.
Can I Get High From This?
Absolutely not, to be sold legally in the UK they have to have less than 0.2% THC, which is the psychoactive part that gets you high. With such a small quantity, even if you had way too much of this, you still couldn’t get high.
Why Vape Instead Of Taking Oil?
I personally prefer taking CBD oil, however this is a much slower method of consumption. Vaping works incredibly quickly, meaning you could take it just before bed to help ease your mind and relax you.
Also, as you take the CBD oil under your tongue sublingually, much of it is wasted, especially the left overs that you swallow. The carrier oil is applied to increase bioavailability, however with vaping you gain a lot more into your bloodstream as it enters your lungs. You’re therefore getting a better return for your money, with more of the liquid being utilised by the body and taking effect. Theoretically, this means you need less to get the same result.
How Long Will It Last?
This all depends on how much you use it and how many you have in each serving. A single bottle is 10ml, which according to most surveys on e-liquids states it lasts 3-4 weeks for most people.
