happy hemper

I don’t often get excited when it comes to reviews anymore, as it’s hard to find something truly new, but I can’t lie, I was extremely excited when this arrived. It felt a bit like Christmas day, where you don’t know what you’re getting until you unwrap it.

I guess that’s the magic of a subscription box, it’s a bit of a surprise each time one arrives and you get to try something new.

What Did You Get?

I received 6 different products within the hamper, all carefully packaged to ensure they’re kept in good condition.

Cannabis Chocolate

While I don’t eat as much chocolate as I used to when I was younger, I do love a bit of dark chocolate and was delighted to see this Euphoria bar was 70% cocoa, while it also contained 18mg of CBD.

I’ve tried a number of CBD chocolates and one of the most frustrating aspects is that the hemp taste is often highly noticeable, and the chocolate often tastes low quality, however I was delighted to find this tasted amazing, along the lines of what you’d expect from Green&Blacks.

Green Stem CBD Hand Cream

While I’ve heard of Green Stem a number of times, I haven’t had the good fortune to test them out, so I was delighted to give this a try.

Considering we’re entering the winter months, some hand cream will go down a treat to stop my hands getting dry with the change of weather.

The hand cream contains 100mg of CBD, while it also contains sandalwood, jasmine and lavender, all helping to moisturise the skin and repair any damage. Served in a 75ml tube, this should last a decent length of time as well.

Love Hemp Jelly Domes

I have to straight away admit that the strawberry domes were certainly my favourite, they tasted absolutely scrumptious! You got three flavours, being strawberry, orange and blackcurrant, with 30 jelly domes in a pack.

Each jelly dome contained 20mg of CBD, meaning you got 600mg in a tub, while these are also vegan friendly as they use pectin instead of gelatine, a plant based alternative.

CBD Guru Heat Balm

Any form of CBD balm is well appreciated at the moment, as I’m stepping up my weight training after finishing a 6 month diet, so any support to those achy muscles will go down a treat.

The balm easily spread into the skin, applied directly after getting out of the shower, while a tub contains 500mg of CBD.

Along with CBD, you will find a number of other ingredients, such as clove oil, menthol and camphor oil.

Honest Hemp CBD Spray

I double took when I saw the front, at first I thought it was a general CBD spray, but hello orange flavouring!

It might be that I ate some of the cannabis chocolate not long before trying this out, but it reminded me a lot of Terry’s chocolate orange.

The 30ml tincture contained 300mg of CBD, while they use MCT as the carrier oil.

Professor Herb Soap Bar

I left the most unique till last, the exfoliating soap bar by Professor Herb. The bar had a great apple scent, while it was a decent size at 250 grams, much bigger than your average bar of soap.

This is the perfect item if you enjoy some TLC while relaxing in the tub on a cold winter evening. Of course, I couldn’t help myself and had to run a bath or three in order to test this out!

When Did They Launch?

This is a brand new subscription service, with September 2021 the first month they were sent out, receiving a glowing response from customers all over the UK.

They choose brands that have third party lab tests in place, and they try to select products that are vegan friendly when possible.

How Often Do They Come?

They are delivered monthly, with orders placed before the 13th of the month being shipped out on the 15th. The order may take between 3-5 working days to arrive.

How Much Do The Happy Hemper Subscription Boxes Cost?

You have three options available to you:

  • The Little Hemper – £44.99 – This is the ideal item if you want to make a one-off purchase, containing a diverse range of CBD based products.
  • The Happy Hemper – £59.99 – This box contains 4-6 products, while they also offer a discount if you sign up to 3-6 months pre-paid.
  • The Happy Hemper Pro – £69.99 – This is the largest option, containing 6-8 products, with the average box containing products worth on average £130, so you’re getting them a lot cheaper than if you bought them directly. Once again, you could enjoy a discount if you ordered 3-6 months pre-paid.

If you’d like to order the Happy Hemper subscription box then you should head over to their website.
