I will be testing and reviewing two CBD products by Pro Extract Co, however I couldn’t help myself starting off with the CBD Rose as it sounded incredible. I’m happy to say the smell and taste matched perfectly with my expectations and hopes.
Spray Versus Dropper
One thing I was hugely impressed by was the fact that they included both a dropper and a spray, so you can choose which you prefer.
I normally opt for a dropper, just because this is the most common consumption method CBD brands provide, however sprays are useful for more accurate dosages.
Markings On The Dropper
Another brownie point goes to Pro Extract Co for including measurement markings on the dropper. You have no idea how difficult it is to constantly guess if you’ve taken 1ml or slightly off with your dosage when there are no markings at all.
How Much CBD Do You Get?
The tincture contains 1,800mg of CBD. The bottle contains 30ml, meaning a 1ml full dropper would contain 60mg of CBD.
For the testing period I wanted 40mg of CBD in a single dosage 30 minutes before bed, so I went for 0.66ml of liquid.
If you instead opt for the spray, then according to their website, 4 sprays should contain approximately 30-32mg of CBD (0.5ml of liquid).
This is a CBD isolate, backed up by the lab report available from the footer of the website, meaning you will only find CBD, no other cannabinoids present within the oil, or not beyond a trace element. You can find the batch code for the lab report on the base of the bottle, alongside the expiry date.
How Does It Taste?
It tasted gorgeous! When CBD brands started coming out with flavoured CBD oil, it was predominantly peppermint, which I often found disappointing. But over the past 12 months there have been some really creative flavours and this is certainly one of the best I’ve tasted.
The Rosé oil has a decadent taste of mixed berries and champagne. It slightly reminded me of a mix between Rose Tequila and the strawberry dream Roses chocolates, both of which I love!
