orange county mint cbd oil

I’ve finally and sadly made it to the end of the Orange County CBD flavoured oils, after the apple, orange and cherry, finishing up with mint. A few people had messaged me and asked if I was going to be reviewing this flavour, so I thought I better hurry up and give it a try!

How Did It Taste?

You know what, I’ll hold my hands up and admit I was shocked. I don’t normally like mint flavours, I find them pretty boring, so I review and test them for the entire week, then I hand them to my girlfriend so she can have the rest.

But this was the first mint flavour I’ve liked! The taste was closer to an After Eight mint, while the aroma was also very nice. I would say I still prefer apple, orange and cherry due to me naturally preferring these flavours over mint, but if you’re a mint fan then this one is the best tasting! It states the mint flavour comes from natural flavourings, but I can’t see any more details about what ingredient is used to create the flavour.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

As with all the flavours Orange County stock, you can pick either 500mg, 1,000mg or 1,500mg, while I’ve been sent the 500mg flavour, therefore my review is based on this one.

The recommended dosage on the packaging states 1 full pipette, which is 1ml, meaning it would work out as 16.66mg of CBD per serving. I like a little bit more personally, therefore when I took it in the evening, I took 1.5 full pipettes. Besides, this gives me an extra chance to taste more of it!

They do actually state on their website you should use half a pipette twice a day, but again, this comes down to personal preference and how much you want in one go. Personally, if I had 8mg in one go, I wouldn’t even notice it, but I do have high tolerance levels after the amount I have consumed over the past couple of years!

THC wasn’t detected according to the lab reports, which is important to know if you’re drug tested at all. Do have a read of my CBD certificate analysis guide if you want to learn more about how to understand them.

Spray Or Pipette?

If you’ve decided to make the purchase, you will then see you’ve been offered the chance to choose between a spray top or a pipette. This is actually very rare, I don’t know another CBD brand that gives you this choice, so it is a nice added bonus.

If you opt for the spray, you will have to adjust the measurements and read up a guide on how much you get from a single spray, based on a 500mg CBD 30ml bottle. The spray costs an extra £1, while it makes measuring precise drops much easier, however I have had a bad history with sprays leaking, therefore I always opt for a pipette. Having said that, I can’t explain how much easier it is to dose with a spray.

If you opt for the 500mg then you might not need a spray, as it is quite easy to work out how much to take with a pipette. But if you went for a strong CBD oil and you only need 2-4 drops, it can be hard to precisely measure how many you’ve dropped in your mouth, which is where the spray comes to use.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can purchase the Orange County CBD Oil in the mint flavour from their website for £25 if purchasing in the 500mg bottle.
