The second product I’m reviewing by Hapi Hemp, following my experiment with the Tranquil CBD Tea, the full spectrum CBD oil was ordered in a natural flavour. This CO2 extracted CBD oil comes in a 10ml bottle and is one of their vast range, created by Lorraine and Sam.
What Carrier Oil Does Hapi Hemp Use?
I have written in the past about the best carrier oil, where I strongly recommend MCT oil and so I was pleasantly surprised to find it included in the Hapi Hemp full spectrum CBD. This ensures you get a greater bioavailability of the CBD once it enters your system, meaning less is wasted.
What Flavours Do They Have?
There are two different options, natural or peppermint. Personally, I don’t find the taste of CBD oil too bad, the way some do, therefore I always opt for a natural option when possible.
How Much CBD Is In Each Bottle?
I’ve been reviewing the 1,500mg bottle (15%), however there are 3 options available, including 500, 1,500 and 2,600mg. With the bottle I have, each drop contains 7.5mg of CBD, while the bottle contains 200 drops (wait…200*7.5…Yep that’s right).
The amount you should take will all depend on your previous usage of CBD, why you’re taking it and what you’re hoping to achieve. They recommend taking 2-3 drops and building up as required. I personally like to get around 20mg of CBD per day therefore 3 drops sounds perfect for me.
As a general rule, you should not have over 200mg of CBD, not that I’ve managed to get near that figure!
All of their 3rd party lab test results are available online or if you request them. They are based in Peterborough and meet UK legislation, meaning they contain under 0.2% THC. They’re also a Cannabis Trades Association registered manufacturer.
How Long Do I Hold It Under My Tongue?
Hapi Hemp actually offer the right advice, holding it under your tongue for at least 90 seconds. To many brands state 20-30 seconds, which isn’t enough time for it to be sufficiently absorbed. You can also read my guide on why sublingual consumption of CBD oil is necessary.
How Much Does The Hapi Hemp CBD Oil Cost?
It depends on the size you choose, the 500mg is £39.99, the 1,500mg is £56.99 and the 2,600mg is £89.99. As you can probably guess, this means you benefit from economies of scale in regards to the CBD quantity, therefore if you have the budget and you’re looking for something a bit stronger then it could be worth taking the plunge and investing in the higher end version. Whether you choose natural or peppermint the price doesn’t change. These are available to buy from the Hapi Hemp website. Make sure to use the code ‘CBDSLOTH10’ for a discount!
