Following on from the Four Five CBD muscle rub, I’m now looking at the next product in their range, the natural flavour CBD oil. This is the lower strength 500mg option, however they do also stock 1,000mg and 2,000mg alternatives.

Why A Spray?

While most CBD brands provide a pipette, FourFiveCBD have opted for a spray, much like Love CBD. The common reasons for doing so is a single spray will offer a consistent amount, whereas when you have to put drops in your mouth, it can be hard to measure exactly how many you’ve had and the numbers won’t remain consistent day to day.

How Much Do I Take?

The guidelines are to take 2 sprays up to three times a day. A single spray from the 500mg CBD bottle contains 2mg of CBD. You can therefore adjust the amount based on what you require. I actually tend to have 20mg of CBD in the morning and 20mg in the evening, so this would require me to have 10 sprays in the morning and 10 at night, whereas they recommend starting with 2-3 sprays per day.

You should get around 250 sprays from a single bottle, based on the measurements of a single spray being 0.12ml (2mg of CBD).

I therefore would personally opt for a stronger version, but I obviously take a lot per day as I have to review them all, therefore my tolerance levels are much higher than the average person.

The time you take it and how much you take will all be based on your person reasons for having it. For example, if you find you struggle to sleep at night then you might want to take it all in one go in the evening, 40 minutes before going to sleep. Alternatively, if you suffer from anxiety then you might want to take it sporadically during the day.

This product contains a full spectrum cannabis extract, meaning you can benefit from the entourage effect thanks to the inclusion of the other cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids.

According to the 3rd party lab test results, while CBD makes up the majority of cannabinoids present, you will also find quantities of CBDV, CBDVA, CBG and THC. It’s always worth checking out the lab test results before making a purchase, but if you don’t know where to start then you should have a read of my guide of how to read a certificate of analysis.

What Else Should I Know About This Product?

Despite the presence of THC, it is obviously way below the legal UK limit of 0.2%, meaning it can’t get you ‘high’.

This product uses 100% natural ingredients, it’s herbicide and pesticide free (which is part of the testing process and is integral as hemp is highly porous and these would pass through to the oil). It’s also vegan and vegetarian friendly, while they utilise CO2 extraction methods.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can purchase the FourFiveCBD CBD oil from their website for £29.99, or alternatively you can get it at a discounted rate of £23.99 if you’re willing to sign up to a monthly subscription. I’m also happy to say you can get 15% off with the discount code ‘FF15’!
