I recently wrote about the Ethos CBD Peach Rings, which were most certainly scrumptious and very moreish, however now I’m taking a look at their hero product, the Ethos CBD oil drops.
Considering how much I’ve enjoyed the other products by this brand, I felt delighted to try some more items by Ethos CBD and they didn’t fail to deliver.
Do These Contain THC?
You can pick between the premium CBD oil droplets or the THC free CBD drops. If you do opt for the premium drops, they will contain some THC, albeit not a huge amount, so as to meet UK legal limits.
Some people are drug tested for work or when competing in sports, so for those individuals you might want the THC free option, however personally I always prefer to go for the option that contains the greatest blend of cannabinoids in their natural state, so I’d lean towards the premium option.
On top of the presence of CBD and THC in the premium drops, the lab report also highlights that it contained a small amount of CBDA, CBC and CBG. The THC free drops didn’t contain any CBDA, but they contained a slightly higher amount of CBG, plus a small amount of CBC.
You can find the lab report from the top navigation on their website, available for each product in their range.
You will also find the batch lot number on the side of the packaging, which you can match up with the lab report on their website. If you can’t find the lab report, don’t hesitate to contact the brand as they will be able to send it over to you.
What Flavours Did They Have?
If you opt for the premium CBD oil drops, they come as either peppermint or strawberry, whereas the THC free drops can be peppermint or lemon flavoured.
I’ve been testing out the lemon and the strawberry drops, offering me a nice mix of flavours. Not that the taste should be the overriding factor when it comes to picking the right CBD oil for you, but I personally really enjoyed the strawberry flavour, so that was my favourite, however they were both very tasty.
Which Carrier Oil Do They Use?
Regardless of which CBD oil option you pick, Ethos CBD have opted for an organic cold pressed hemp seed oil, which is packed to the brim with omega-3 and omega-6 essential fatty acids.
They have highlighted that the hemp seed oil is 100% organic, which is important to know, just the same as the cannabinoid extract, as hemp is highly porous.
If any chemical fertilisers or pesticides were used on the plant, then this would transfer through to the end product, which you most certainly don’t want, so it is important to check this is the case.
They utilise EU grown hemp, before the Slovenian producers Essentia Pura extract the cannabinoids through a supercritical CO2 extraction process.
How Long Till This Goes Off?
With CBD products, they don’t have an urgent use by date, it’s purely a best before, as with most products of this nature, while the shelf life will normally be around 12-24 months.
The CBD oil’s that have arrived have a best before date of January 2024, meaning 21 months, which is a decent length and plenty of time to use them up.
Where Can I Buy This From?
If you head over to the Ethos CBD website, you can pick up the 10% premium oil droplets for £39, or the THC Free CBD oil drops for £30. They also offer free delivery on all orders within the UK, taking 2-3 business days to arrive.
