Envy CBD is a US based CBD brand, with its headquarters set in South El Monte in California, launched in 2018.

The stylish looking brand has launched a number of CBD products, including the usual suspects, such as CBD oil and gummies, as well as a number of topicals such as CBD bath bombs and face masks.

I always feel enticed to mention this when I see it, as it doesn’t happen often enough, but there are measurement markings on the dropper, making it easy to measure out the dosage you require.

What Flavour CBD Tinctures Do They Offer?

They have three different flavoured CBD tinctures, being strawberry watermelon, double apple and orange, while I’m testing out the orange and strawberry watermelon.

The orange is nice, sweet without being overwhelming, while there is no hemp aftertaste. The strawberry watermelon certainly has watermelon as the dominant flavour, which tastes more natural than some artificial flavourings you get.

I liked the taste of both of them, but I’d have to slightly lean towards orange as my favourite, but my girlfriend leaned towards strawberry watermelon so it’s an even split (she tests everything that I do as well, so she’s quite a CBD veteran).

What Extraction Method Do They Use?

There are numerous ways in which cannabinoids can be extracted from the cannabis plant. Some of the most well known include using a solvent, olive oil, steam and CO2 extraction.

Envy CBD have opted for an ethanol based extraction method, which involves the hemp plant being soaked in ethanol, with the cannabinoids, terpenes and flavonoids being stripped from the plant, before the liquid is strained and heated.

What Strength Are They?

They offer four different strengths on the Envy CBD website, 250mg, 500mg, 1,000mg and 1,500mg. I’m testing out both flavours at 500mg.

The one thing I always need to remind myself is that American brands opt for 30ml tinctures rather than 10ml, this doesn’t mean it’s stronger or weaker at all, but when it comes to dosages you have to work out the pertinent amount for you. E.g. I want 30-40mg of CBD during testing, so I needed 2 full 1ml droppers to get 33.32mg of CBD.

Envy CBD publishes the lab reports on their website, which can either be found in the footer or under ‘learn’ in the top navigation panel.

Along with the presence of CBD, the lab report also highlighted the presence of CBG, CBDV and CBGA. I was happy to see you got 13-14mg of CBG in each tincture, this is my favourite cannabinoid (I know, I’m such a nerd) so more the merrier for me!

Where Is The Hemp Grown?

Envy CBD utilise hemp grown in the USA, from farms in Colorado, Minnesota and Oregon. The farms all utilise organic practices, meaning you won’t find pesticides or chemical fertilisers used in the growth of the hemp plant.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can order the Envy CBD tinctures from their website for $14.99 for the 250mg tincture, $19.99 for the 500mg, $24.99 for the 1,000mg and $29.99 for the 1,500mg tincture.

As you can undoubtedly see, you benefit from economies of scale, as you get triple the amount of cannabidiol in the 1,500mg to the 500mg tincture, yet the price is only 50% more.

They offer free shipping within the USA, while you should allow 3-7 business days for your delivery to arrive.
