I’ve been meaning to write a list of the strongest CBD oil’s available and this will certainly take its place on the list, containing 3,000mg of CBD in each tincture.

This is the first of two products I will be reviewing by Ceelabb over the next couple of weeks, so make sure to keep your eyes out for the CBD gummies review.

How Many Calories Are In Each 1ml Drop?

The worst part about reaching a new year is you suddenly feel guilt ridden into exercising and burning off the Christmas weight. For this reason, I’m having to calorie count once again.

In each full 1ml dropper, you will get 1 gram of fat. A gram of fat works out as 9 calories, which is hardly going to break your calorie limit for the day.

However, as the FSA doesn’t recommend having more than 70mg of CBD in a day, you will most likely be looking for around half a ml, being 50mg of CBD, which would therefore be 4.5 calories (0.5g of fat).

Obviously, 50mg is relatively high if you’re new to CBD, however for someone looking at a strong CBD oil, I’m presuming you require something stronger, therefore a 50mg helping may be ideal.

Which Carrier Oil Do They Use?

Ceelabb have opted for fractionated coconut oil, which is made from coconuts and is packed full of MCT’s (medium chain triglycerides).

When you see fractionated, this means the coconut oil no longer contains the long chain triglycerides. MCT’s are spoken about regularly in the health and nutrition industry, as they are used pre-workout to give you a boost of energy, the can increase fullness and they also won’t be stored as body fat in the way long chain triglycerides will.

But the main reason they’re utilised in this product is that they’re incredible as a carrier oil for CBD.

How Big Is A Serving?

This will depend on how much you’re looking to take per day, but I went for half a ml, being 50mg of CBD.

This is on the higher end, with many people opting for 20-30mg of CBD, therefore if you’re starting out then you might want to go for 0.25ml of liquid.

Measurements On Dropper

Turn back two years ago and I hadn’t seen a single measurement marker on a dropper…Ever. It felt bizarre, but unless you counted the drops, which can be difficult, especially when taking a larger dosage, you were left struggling to measure your dosage out.

However, US brands tend to deliver CBD oil in a 30ml tincture rather than a 10ml tincture, meaning it is less concentrated, while this product is manufactured in the USA and follows the 30ml bottle style, so you can benefit from a dropper with measurement markings.

This removes the guesswork if you want to put 0.5ml in your mouth, filling to the pertinent marker. It does seem like markings on droppers are becoming more regular, but I wish they were always present.

The Taste

I have provided CBD oil for many people in my life, however one of the first reactions tends to be the shock around the taste.

While I don’t mind the taste of CBD oil, I know I’m in the minority, with many people struggling with this, hence the growth of flavoured CBD oil’s and gummies.

However, being a CBD isolate and not containing the terpenes that you might expect from a hemp extract, this oil has absolutely no flavour, so you don’t have to worry about that strong hemp flavour coming through.

Where Can I Buy This From?

The 3,000mg Ceelabb CBD oil is available from their website for €110, which also puts you over the minimum for free delivery.

Make sure to get your order in before 4pm for it to be shipped the same day, providing your order is between Monday and Friday.

Being based in Brighton, I have directly witnessed the CBD industry grow and prosper, albeit witnessing the difficulties around legislation and the lack of transparency. I therefore decided to become a neutral viewpoint offering genuine reviews, advice and guidance.
