Silvia and Robert come from the beautiful European country Hungary, the nation that made me fall in love with Goulash stew following my many visits to Budapest.

Growing up with a mum that would utilise herbs and spices to provide natural solutions for various ailments, this left an imprint that led to the creation of a Premium organic honey brand, Honey Heaven.

Established in 2015 here in the UK, they have the motto “Nature’s choice for a healthier life”, something I can definitely connect with.

I’m kicking off with a review of their CBD gummy bears, but I’m also excited to try out their CBD infused premium organic honey, keep an eye out for the review coming out soon.

What Flavours Do These Come In?

There are 6 flavours available within a pack of the Honey Heaven CBD Gummies, being strawberry, orange, pineapple, lemon, blackberry and apple.

They utilise natural flavours, plus apple fruit juice concentrate (1%) to get that great flavour, plus some glucose syrup and sugar to add some sweetness.

The taste is amazing, nice and sweet, while you can’t taste the hemp extract, which can sometimes be overwhelming with a few of the gummies I’ve tried.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

Each gummy bear contains 20mg of CBD, while you get 25 gummies in a jar, meaning a total of 500mg of CBD.

This is a decent amount of CBD per gummy bear, with the average bear containing 10mg of CBD (they can vary anywhere between 5-50mg per bear, but the most common quantity is 10mg).

Depending on how much you require and your tolerance levels, you may want 1-2 gummies per day. The FSA recommends not taking over 70mg of CBD in a 24 hour period, therefore you shouldn’t go higher than 3 gummy bears (well, 3 and a half if you fancied breaking them up).

I went for 3 bears in a day, however rather than taking them before bed, I split my dosage with one bear in the morning, one midday and one just as I finished work, to allow for a continuous supply and also to allow my body to burn off the sugar throughout the day.

The lab report highlights that the gummies contain the stated dosage of CBD, while they also have a small amount of cannabigerol and cannabichromene.

While it might just be a small amount of these additional cannabinoids, I’m happy to see them present, as most gummies are purely isolate. Honey Heaven have instead combined broad spectrum CBD with CBD distillate, which is a thumbs up from me. The industrial hemp is organically grown by licensed farmers based in Switzerland.

How Long Will A Pack Last?

The expiry date on my product is the 1st April 2023, while it arrived at the start of November 2021, meaning 17 months from arriving until it reaches that date.

In regards to how much usage you’d get from a pack, it depends how many you take per day, but if you took two per day, you’d get 12 days of 2 gummies and a final day on 1 gummy.

Are These Vegan Friendly?

Yes they are. Taking a look at their ingredients, they use pectin as a gelling agent rather than gelatine, therefore they’ve opted for a plant based source.

How Many Calories Are In Each Bear?

Per 100 grams, you get 328 calories, made up from 82 grams of carbohydrates (4 calories per gram of carb = 328 calories).

I couldn’t see a measurement on the pack, but weighed them out and they came to around 100 grams for all 25 gummies. You could therefore predict that one gummy would be around 13 calories, made from 3.25 grams of carbohydrates.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can order a pack of the vegan CBD Honey Heaven gummy bears for £25 from their website. They also have a deal (at time of writing), buy 1 get 1 half price!
