Heart Hemp are a brand I first reviewed back in April and instantly became a big fan of the brand and their product range, so I’d definitely recommend having a look at the Heart Hemp CBD oil.

They’ve since launched a new product in their range, being CBD gummies with a number of other brilliant ingredients making this product stand out over the competition.

What Does Each Gummy Include?

As an increasing number of CBD brands enter the market, with relatively similar products, it’s the brands that truly differentiate themselves or provide an all-round product that will stand the test of time.

Each gummy contains 10mg of CBD, while they’ve also added 5-HTP, along with zinc, niacin, Vitamin A, C, D, E, B3, B5, B6 and B12.

They also contain carrot juice, black carrot juice, some sucrose and glucose to offer that great taste, as well as strawberry or orange flavouring to give you that scrumptious flavour.

The gummies tasted great, both the strawberry and orange flavours, while you didn’t get that intense hemp aftertaste that some have.

Why Include 5-HTP?

I first learned about 5-HTP back a decade ago and I was instantly fascinated by it, however the main way of consuming it at the time was through a giant pill which I wasn’t keen on.

However, it is slowly starting to be included in more supplements and I was delighted to see Heart Hemp added this to their gummies.

5-HTP helps to increase the production of serotonin, which is the hormone involved in helping to stabilise your mood and happiness.

Serotonin is also critical for helping you to sleep at night, for your digestion and your appetite.

As you can therefore imagine, 5-HTP is often utilised to help increase melatonin production, which is converted from serotonin, to help regulate your sleep-wake cycles, as well as reducing migraine frequency and relieving the symptoms of depression.

How Much CBD Do You Get In A Pack?

Each gummy has 10mg of CBD and there are 30 in a pack, meaning you get 300mg of CBD. With the pack costing £24.95, this means that each gummy costs 83p.

The lab report highlights that it meets and slightly surpasses the 10mg per bear figure, while CBD is the only cannabinoid with a notable presence, as is common with edibles.

Are These Vegan Friendly?

Yes they are. Instead of using gelatine, they have opted for pectin, which is a plant based alternative, creating that jelly substance without using animal parts.

On top of this, a number of vegans tend to have low levels of Vitamin B12, while each gummy contains 1.5ug, which is 60% of the recommended daily intake.

Vitamin B12 is found in meat, poultry and eggs, which is why vegans struggle to get enough. Technically, they have Vitamin B12 as it is found in the bacteria in the ground, which they inevitably eat when they consume grass or seeds with dirt attached.

If you’re growing your own plants and eating them straight from your garden, you might actually be getting enough Vitamin B12, but for the rest of us, we can often fall short of the required daily intake.

How Many Calories Per Gummy?

For those that are watching your weight or calorie counting, it can always be important to find this out beforehand.

Each Heart Hemp Multivitamin gummy contains 9 calories, meaning it won’t break your calorie bank. Considering I’m on a calorie reduced diet of 2,000 calories per day, this makes it 0.44% of my daily calorie intake, barely scratching the surface.

Those calories are made up of carbohydrates, containing 1.9 grams of carbs, with 1.1 gram being sugars.

Where Can I Buy These From?

You can order the Heart Hemp CBD Multivitamin Gummies from their website for £24.95. They offer free delivery in the UK, so you may want to order a couple of packs or consider also ordering some CBD oil or a topical treatment.
