cbdiablo gummies

It has actually been more than a month since I tested out any CBD gummies and in my world, that’s a lifetime, so I was very excited to receive these CBD gummies by CBDiablo.

This is also the first of two products I’ll be testing out by this Scottish brand, so keep an eye out for the follow up review of the CBDiablo CBD oil.

How Many Do You Get In A Pack?

The pack I’ve been sent includes 30 cubes, however if you’re working to a tighter budget, they also stock packs of five cubes.

As you can imagine, it works out slightly cheaper per gummy if you opt for the bigger pack, while five won’t last you very long, so I’d go for the 30 pack.

What Flavours Do They Come In?

There were four different flavours in the pack, being raspberry, lemon & lime, mango and strawberry.

Strawberry was certainly my favourite, but the good thing is that they all tasted great. They use natural flavours to get that taste, while they also add both sugar and tapioca syrup to make it nice and sweet.

Are They Vegan Friendly?

Yes, the gummies don’t contain any gelatine. They have used pectin instead, a fibre found in the cell walls of plants, which can improve blood sugar levels and digestion.

Pectin is fast becoming an industry standard alternative to gelatine, meaning you can munch these down without the guilt.

Why Are They Called CBDiablo?

It’s an interesting and unique name in the CBD industry, as many opt for a pharmaceutical sounding brand name or one that includes the buzzwords they want to perform well for.

Ian McLaren and Sam Williamson wanted to take on the negative perception of cannabis and create a ‘good vs evil’ focus, utilising this ‘bad plant’ and making something good from it.

The founders are self-proclaimed website and internet geeks (something I can certainly relate to), while I love the fact that they donate 20% of their profits towards the Campaign Against Living Miserably suicide prevention charity.

Why Cubes?

Nowadays, the vast majority of gummies come in the shape of a bear, while I’m also seeing a number of rings, but whether it’s a bear, a ring, a cube or a heart shape, this won’t affect the flavour or the cannabinoid profile.

How Many Calories Are In Each Cube?

It states that per serving you will get 15 calories, being from carbohydrates, with 4 grams of carbs and 2 grams of those carbs being sugar.

Considering you’re always limited with how many you consume, this will mean the cubes shouldn’t break your calorie allowance if you’re on a diet, but the great taste may make you want to eat a few more!

How Much CBD Do You Get From A Cube?

Each cube contains 10mg of CBD, while there are 30 in a pack, meaning the entire pack contains 300mg.

The FSA doesn’t recommend consuming more than 70mg of CBD in a day, being 7 cubes, however 20-30mg should be absolutely fine for most people.

Along with the presence of cannabidiol, the gummies also contained a small amount of CBDV. The brand list their lab reports from the footer on their website, but if it doesn’t have the corresponding batch, email the brand and they will be more than willing to email it over.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can order the CBDiablo Vegan CBD Gummies from their website for £28 (including VAT), which is delivered via DPD or the Royal Mail.

They offer free shipping from £30, so it might be worth buying a couple of packs, or adding the CBD oil to your basket to save yourself a few pounds on the delivery cost.

Being based in Brighton, I have directly witnessed the CBD industry grow and prosper, albeit witnessing the difficulties around legislation and the lack of transparency. I therefore decided to become a neutral viewpoint offering genuine reviews, advice and guidance.
