Back a month ago, I spoke about the CBDPure CBD infused muscle & joint cream, which I was using regularly after workouts, while I now want to bring your attention to another product by this brand, being the CBD softgels.
How Many Do You Get In A Pack?
You get 30 softgel capsules in each pack, while each softgel contains 25mg of CBD. This therefore means you get 750mg of CBD in each pack.
If you want to check the lab report, it can be found on the footer of the website. You can then double check the batch code lines up with your product. It should be noted that the batch code isn’t on the outside plastic packaging, it’s on the base of the glass bottle, along with the date of manufacture.
The lab report highlights the presence of CBD, along with a small amount of CBC and THC.
Cannabichromene doesn’t bind with the cannabinoid receptors 1 or 2, while there are an increasing number of studies on this intriguing cannabinoid which are worth reading about.
When it comes to getting a lab report, many CBD brands will take the cheaper route, meaning they will check for the cannabinoid profile but won’t show everything, including whether it contains pesticides, solvents or heavy metals, which I feel is an important step in assessing the quality. Fortunately, CBDPure opt for a thorough lab report, covering all bases.
How Big Are The Capsules?
While they weren’t overly soft, they were small and went easily down the throat. It was half an inch long and quarter of an inch thick (yep, I measured it out).
How Many Do You Take?
There recommendation on the pack is to take one softgel per day. That would provide you with 25mg of CBD and personally I like to take around 40mg per day, therefore I opted for two, one in the morning and one in the evening.
The amount you go for is up to you, but the FSA doesn’t recommend you consume more than 70mg of CBD in a day, so that would mean two is your recommended maximum.
However, if you want a complete monthly dosage then taking one per day works quite well, with 30 in a pack.
How Long Till It Takes Effect?
As the capsule has to be broken down in your digestive system and then the CBD has to enter the bloodstream, it will often take 1-2 hours to take effect. Therefore, if you’ve waited an hour and can’t feel the benefit, it’s worth giving it a little extra time.
Of course, it is important to remember that many other factors come into play, such as whether you’ve recently eaten, what your metabolism is like and how much you weigh.
Where Can I Buy These From?
You can order the CBD Pure Softgels from their website for $89.99 for a 1 month supply, which works out as $2.99 per capsule.
Alternatively, you can opt for a 3 month supply for $224.99, which is $74.99 per bottle and $2.49 per capsule.
The lowest price per softgel option is if you pay upfront for six packs, coming out at $374.99, which is $62.49 per bottle and $2.08 per softgel.
