My next review of the recently launched Orange County CBD Cali Range is the Pineapple Express, following on from the Girls Scout Cookies. This has been a nice change up, trialling a vaping e-liquid in my evenings, rather than sipping on CBD oil, trying it in the build-up to going to bed to help me sleep.
Pineapple Express, Isn’t That A Movie?
That’s right Sherlock, Pineapple Express is the title of a hilarious 2008 movie starring weed lover Seth Rogen alongside his co-star and lover (probably) James Franco.
But the name Pineapple Express, given to the strain, seems to be commonplace now, so was it invented for the movie or did it already exist? Well according to Seth Rogen, they made it up for the movie, but there is inevitably now a strain named after it.
A cross between Hawaiian landrace and Trainwreck, the taste is as you would expect, a hint of pineapple and pine. The scent is slightly different, more closer to the smell of a fresh ripe mango.
So Does This Product Taste Of Pineapple?
It certainly has a tropical hit. I would say it tastes somewhat of pineapple, generally a fruity tropical taste, but more like a mix of tropical fruits.
How Much CBD Do You Get?
They offer two different versions, the 1,500mg and 2,500mg packs, both coming in a 50ml tub. This is a broad spectrum oil, meaning it does contain other cannabinoids, however it shouldn’t have any THC.
I have a lab report, however there is no detail on the packaging whether the batch I have matches the lab report, so I can only base it on what I have to hand.
The lab report highlights that it has the stated CBD, along with CBC, CBG and CBDV. I was happy to see a presence of CBG in the e-liquid, always a nice positive I keep an eye out for.
How Does This Compare To Other E-Liquids?
Most other e-liquids I’ve tried have been around 300-500mg bottles, albeit in 10ml size. As you can therefore imagine, this means you get more CBD for your money with Orange County CBD, but you do have to be aware that you need more of the liquid to get the same portion of CBD than those higher concentrated options, so always do the calculations before taking any, so you have an appropriate dosage.
I’m not massive on vaping, but I do love all the various flavours, while it also offers a much quicker ‘hit’. I’ve tried options such as cherry, mint, lemon and strawberry, while the Cali range of flavours by Orange County CBD can certainly compete with any of those.

Are you just saying the 2500mg is better way to go? I’m trying to find the best vape juice to order… I use to take 3000mg of full spectrum oil … I’ve moved to melatonin which is helping immensely but it’s hard to navigate the vape juices. Any further opinion of best quality vape cbd to order would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Hi Alexi, basically, if you have 1,000mg in a 10ml bottle and 1,000mg in a 30ml bottle, then it is more highly concentrated in the 10ml bottle, so you require less liquid for the same result.
