This is the third Truverra product I’ve reviewed so far and the 2nd of their e-liquid’s after the CBD Cherry e-liquid which is also worth reading. I’m reviewing the 3% version, however there is also a 5% version that can be purchased on their website. In case you need to know, this product is 100% suitable for vegetarians.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

The bottle contains 300mg of CBD, or 3%. They utilise the full hemp plant extract, meaning you will also benefit from the other cannabinoids which will be present, creating the entourage effect. The amount you get in a single dosage is much more difficult to detail compared to an oil as it completely depends on much many times you vape, how much you inhale on a single go etc. I would recommend starting low and building up as your body adjusts. The bottle size is 10ml, the usual size you expect when ordering an e-liquid.

The hemp is grown within the EU, meaning it passes high levels of quality tests required in order to be sold, meaning you can be assured of a certain quality. It’s also herbicide and pesticide free, plus it’s 100% natural and non-GMO.

How Does It Taste?

As you can expect from the flavouring, incredibly minty and menthol. It’s easy on the throat and goes down a treat, but my preference is still for the Amarena cherry flavour personally.

What E-Cigarette Should I Use?

The liquid will work perfectly with your usual e-cigarette, you don’t need a specific one, you just pour the liquid in as normal.

Why Should I Vape Rather Than Take Oil?

I personally use the oil more often than vaping, however there are certain benefits to vaping CBD instead. For a start, it enters your system much quicker! I mean drastically quicker. So if you need something fast acting, maybe you’re heading for a job interview or going to bed soon, this will work a treat. To offer a direct comparison, the oil normally takes an hour for me to notice the effect, whereas vaping is instantaneous.

Another factor which you might have heard about is the loss when consuming CBD oil. You take CBD oil sublingually, which helps to increase absorption, but the rest you swallow after 1-2 minutes and most of that is wasted, hence why it includes carrier oils to help. On the other hand, vaping offers a much higher bioavailability, meaning less is wasted.

One final benefit is that you can conveniently take this at work or out and about without anyone knowing you’re taking CBD. Not that you need to feel ashamed, but sometimes you might not want people prying into your life and asking what you’re taking, as they will assume it’s a normal vape. On the other hand, if you’re sat in the office and you have to pour some drops under your tongue and hold it there for 2 minutes, there may be some follow up questions. This level of convenience and subtlety is appreciated by many.

Where Can I Purchase The Truverra Menthol Blue E-liquid From?

It can be purchased from the Truverra website, while you can also use the code ‘cbdsloth’ to get 10% off your order! This discount applies to all products on the website, so don’t hesitate to have a look around for anything else that might interest you, such as the CBD lip balm.

A single 10ml bottle of the Menthol Blue e-liquid costs £27.99, which means you qualify for free delivery in the UK, as the minimum order is £20.
