harmony tempo starter kit

Following on from the Harmony CBD oil, I’m now testing out the Tempo starter kit, the perfect item for someone looking to vape CBD for the first time or simply looking for an entire kit. This also allows them to try several flavours without having to invest hefty amounts, so they can find out which flavours they prefer.

What Is Included?

Inside each starter pack you will get a quick start guide, a micro USB charging cable, a rechargeable battery device (310 mAH), plus three pods (wild strawberry, Moroccan mint and pink lemonade).

The user guide comes in English, German, Spanish, French, Greek, Italian, Dutch and Portuguese.

The three pods each are colour co-ordinated so you know exactly which one is which, but make sure not to displace the covers. Also, you can top the pods back up once finished with the e-liquid so you can use it again in the future. Having said that, it does highlight that you shouldn’t refill a pod more than four times.

Why Choose Pods Over E-liquid?

The main reason is convenience. With the e-liquid, it can be a little messy at times, pouring it into the vape pen, however the pods you just slot straight in and job done! The pods can easily be put into your pockets or a bag and brought with you, same as the slick pen which doesn’t take up much space at all.

Using The Tempo CBD Starter Kit

The first point my mind went to was to charge the pen, however it was already pre-charged. When you need to charge it again, it’s a very easy-to-use USB charging point, so straight into the laptop, while the LED light goes out once it is fully charged. Once the battery is low, the little LED light on the pen will flash 10 times to give you a warning.

You take the coloured end of the pod off, then place it onto the pen and take off the black cover on the other side of the pod. Breath in on the pen and you should see the LED light brighten as you vape. Once you’re finished, take off the pod and put the covers back on to ensure the quality is kept high.

I quite liked the fact that it was ‘puff activated’ as they call it, so you didn’t have to hold a button down each time you wanted to use it. This also means you don’t have to worry about turning the vape pen off after you’re done using it.

The strawberry was gorgeous, really nice and sweet, easily my favourite. The mint was generally what you expect a mint flavour to taste of, so no surprises on that one. The pink lemonade was nice, but strawberry was hands down the winner.

Important: I thought it wasn’t working when I first went to use it, what I didn’t realise is I hadn’t pushed the pod the entire way in until there is a subtle click. Because of this I didn’t think it was charged, but obviously soon as you push it properly in it works perfectly (silly me, but thought I’d include this in case anyone is as dopy as me).

How Much CBD Do You Get?

Each pod contains 74mg of CBD, while you get 3 pods, meaning a total of 222mg of CBD in the entire pack. To offer a general idea, they state that the 74mg 10% pods will provide you with 200 puffs.

You can find their certificate of analysis on the product pages, which is always worth checking before making a purchase. If you don’t know where to start here, make sure to read my certificate of analysis guide.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can purchase the Harmony Tempo CBD Starter Kit from their website. You will be offered the choice of classics (what I have reviewed today) or cannabis originals, which includes OG Kush, Mango Kush and Super Lemon Haze. The option in flavours won’t change the price at all.
