superganix-1

Today I’m reviewing the Superganix hemp broad spectrum premium oil, made from hemp farms based in the USA. Superganix are a Colorado based business that launched in 2015, focused on nature based healing. They also have a charitable focus, pledging to donate 100 hours of voluntary time each year, while they also aim to become a completely zero waste company within the next five years.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

A 30ml bottle contains 500mg of CBD. They recommend a full 1ml dropper when required, once or twice per day. This means that each serving will contain approximately 16.6mg of hemp extract. According to the third party lab test results, there was 573mg of CBD in the batch, along with 6mg of CBDV. CBDV, or Cannabidivarin, is similar to CBD in structure, is non-psychoactive and is a potent anticonvulsant. If you’re curious to learn more about the different cannabinoids then you should have a read through my guides.

There certificate of analysis is readily available on their website for each product, while if you can’t find it then you can email and they will happily provide it. The analysis looks at the potency of cannabinoids, a microbial analysis, as well as a check for any residual solvents or pesticides. This is not just important for health, but also being a company that delivers completely organic ingredients, it needs to be checked for pesticides. It’s always worth checking the lab test results before making a purchase to ensure quality standards.

Will This Oil Get Me High?

No, the part that gets you ‘high’ is THC, while this bottle contains zero THC. This is also why it is called broad spectrum, as it contains other cannabinoids but has no THC, which is important to know if you’re drug tested for work.

How Does It Taste?

They’ve added a mint flavour, which covers the typical CBD oil taste. I don’t mind the taste of unflavoured CBD oil, but I know a lot of people who can’t stand it, so this is useful for them. The flavour comes from the organic peppermint oil. It also has a solid score on my list of the best CBD oil’s.

Which Carrier Oil Is Used?

Superganix use organic fractionated coconut oil, a medium chain triglyceride, which is the best carrier oil for CBD oil that we know of currently. It’s also a great tool for those looking to lose weight and give themselves a boost before a workout, not that this is relevant to taking it with CBD oil, just a heads up in case you’re looking for a great weight loss ingredient. MCT helps to increase the bioavailability of the swallowed CBD after you have held it under your tongue for a couple of minutes.

Where Can I Purchase The Superganix Oil From?

The broad spectrum premium oil can be purchased from the Superganix website for $59.99, or there 1,500mg version is available for $129.99. If for whatever reason there is a mistake with your order or you’re not happy with your purchase, they offer a free return policy or will exchange it for up to 30 days after ordering. They also donate 5% of profits from all sales to organisations that help to protect and preserve forests and oceans, what a bunch of legends!
