I’ve been very grateful to be testing out a CBD oil by the relatively new CBD brand Boost 113, based in Kent. Unlike most of my reviews, I’ll start by focusing on the taste, as this is a black cherry option, something I really want to highlight. If you have any follow-up questions, don’t hesitate to send me over your enquiries and I’ll make sure to get them all answered.
How Did It Taste?
Wow! I love trying different flavoured CBD oil’s, but this one caught me by surprise. I always loved black forest gateau during my younger years but haven’t had one since I was around 18, yet it all came flooding back as I dropped the delicious oil under my tongue.
For any cherry fans, this is absolutely incredible, easily one of the tastiest CBD oil’s I’ve ever had. They also offer a menthol and citrus flavour, or you can opt for a natural tasting option, but I would strongly recommend giving this a go.
I also had my girlfriend to test it out (she tries virtually all of the products I test) and she instantly commented as well how it almost tasted of chocolate and cherry.
Now, I should bring my review away from taste and really talk about what is important. I took it 30-40 minutes before bed, as I love to take CBD oil in order to enhance my sleeping patterns. This worked a charm, helping me pass out in no time, so this isn’t just a great tasting option, but it personally worked for me.
How Much CBD Do You Get?
I’m testing out the 1,000mg CBD oil by Boost113, while they also offer them in 3 other strengths, being 500, 1,500 or 2,000mg.
All of the Boost 113 CBD oil’s are served in a 10ml tincture. The batch number, useful when you want to investigate the lab report for the batch you’ve ordered, is printed on the side of the bottle.
Outside of the expected levels of CBD and CBDA, there was also a presence of CBG, CBDVA, CBN, CBGA and THC. The CBG levels were actually quite a bit higher than some of the other brands I’ve been testing, always a positive in my eyes.
You can order the product with either an atomiser spray or a dropper, which one you pick is completely down to personal preference.
The spray will allow for more precise dosages (over guessing the number of drops going under your tongue), but I still generally prefer a dropper as they have a lower chance of leakages and you can adjust the dosages beyond a rigid set amount of sprays.
Which Carrier Oil Do They Use?
Boost113 have used organic MCT oil as the carrier oil for CBD, to enhance the bioavailability after consumption.
MCT, short for medium chain triglycerides, are the fats you find in coconut oil, working more like a carbohydrate than a fat source. They’re easier to digest, and also get absorbed into the bloodstream very quickly, which is partly why they can help to boost your energy, but also why they’re such a good accompaniment to CBD.
Where Can I Buy This From?
You can order yourself an absolutely scrumptious black cherry 1,000mg CBD oil by Boost 113 from their website for £39.99.
Alternatively, the 500mg is £24.99, 1,500mg is £59.99 or the 2,000mg tincture is £79.99. Boost113 offers free delivery in the UK, via Royal Mail, which normally takes 2-5 working days to arrive.
