turmeric-hemp-gummies

I’m sad to say this is the last gummy pack I have in my collection to be reviewed, as I’m really enjoying these CBD edibles, with this the second by CBDFX after the mixed berry hemp gummies. I hope you enjoy the review and find it useful, but if I haven’t answered any questions you might have then please feel free to get in contact, I’m always more than happy to help.

How Do They Taste?

Honestly, I was hesitating before trying these as I saw turmeric and I can honestly say most turmeric products I’ve tried haven’t been great, however I was pleasantly surprised. They tasted amazing, just like a normal naughty sweet, much like a fruit pastille. Turmeric has a huge list of health benefits, but its more an ingredient I add to my food for health reasons rather than adding taste, which brings me on to my next point.

Why Include Turmeric?

Turmeric is incredibly healthy, largely thanks to the core ingredient curcumin, which I’m starting to supplement into my diet on a daily basis. Indians have used this spice for a long time due to its medicinal properties, with anti-inflammatory properties and absolutely packed full of antioxidants, which help to fight off free radicals. But it’s not just its connections to fighting off various health issues around low level inflammation and chronic inflammation, it has even been shown to boost brain derived neurotropic factors and fighting off neurodegenerative diseases.

Weird fact/tip for you, curcumin requires piperine in order to be absorbed properly, so you can enhance the effects if you just knock back a little bit of black pepper at the same time. Obviously, this is why most products that contain curcumin should include piperine as an ingredient, but I frustratingly couldn’t see it on the list of ingredients for these hemp gummies.

A single serving of these hemp gummies contains 50mg of turmeric, however the recommended dosage per day is between 500-2,000mg, so don’t hesitate to add more into your dinner.

This has also made it into my list of the best CBD gummies in the UK.

Why Spirulina?

The perfect accompaniment to turmeric, spirulina has a large number of health benefits. This cyanobacteria contains plenty of iron, copper, protein and Vitamins B1, B2 and B3. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and contains antioxidants, just like turmeric. On top of all this, it has even been shown to lower the ‘bad cholesterol’, preventing it from oxidation. But just to finish off, it can also help to reduce blood pressure, making it an ingredient everyone should add to their diets.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

Each gummy contains 5mg of CBD. A single pouch has 8 hemp gummies inside, meaning a whole pack includes 40mg of CBD. A portion size is 2 gummies, therefore you will get 4 servings from a single pouch. This is obviously if you follow the recommended dosage, you can have more than 2 gummies if you require a higher amount of CBD. I like to get 10mg in the morning and 10mg in the evening, so I will eat 4 gummies in a day split between those times.

It should also be highlighted that this is full spectrum CBD, meaning all the other cannabinoids are present, albeit in small numbers, helping you to benefit from the entourage effect. However I still recommend you personally visit their website to look at their 3rd party lab test results, as you should always check these before making a purchase of any CBD product and you can request an up to date version if it is dated.

Where Can I Buy The CBDFX Turmeric & Spirulina Hemp Gummies From?

They can be ordered from the CBFX website or alternatively they are available in virtually every CBD store around the world, being one of the biggest CBD brands globally. It’s worth checking their site, as they regularly have offers available, helping you to get a discount on your order.
