The second chill shot I’m trying by CBDfx, this time I’m trying the lemonade chill shot, a great burst of taste and an innovative product which I’ve very much enjoyed reviewing. How Does It Taste?
Very much like lemonade! I was actually thinking how good it would be with gin, which is where my mind wondered off. It tastes sweet, which led me to check the sugar content, but that’s showing a lovely 0. It has a really refreshing taste, I’d say better than the berry chill shot.
How Much CBD Do You Get?
A single bottle contains 20mg of CBD, which is how much I have per day on average so it’s an ideal quantity for myself. This is full spectrum CBD, meaning all of those other cannabinoids and terpenes working together to give you the entourage effect. It’s made in the USA, therefore it has to pass stringent quality standards and they have third party lab test results available for you to read, which I always recommend before making a purchase.
Can I Drink Half?
You can if you want, the lid can be twisted back on, but the amount of liquid is minimal so it’s better to have all in one go. If you are to save some for the next day, I’d recommend putting it in the fridge.
Why Include L-Theanine?
You will often find L-Theanine included in other sleep medications, as it has been shown to help you relax before bed, which makes it an interesting addition with CBD to work together. On top of this, l-theanine also helps to boost mental focus. This amino acid is regularly found in green tea, something you should be drinking every day, however this bottle contains a substantial 200mg.
I’ve only scratched the surface on the known benefits of l-theanine, with some others including its ability to improve the functionality of your immune system as well as controlled blood pressure.
Who Should Buy These?
While CBD oil might offer a more budget friendly option, per serving, these are great for those who don’t like the taste of CBD oil. Just the same, many people might want a quick shot while at work, therefore they might not want to put drops under their tongue and hold it for two minutes, so this makes for a more convenient and less obvious way of consuming CBD.
I see this as a great tasting treat and a fun way to get my CBD in through the day.
