naturecan restore moisturiser

I’m an avid moisturiser user, however I am guilty of missing out on hand cream and I can still hear my mum telling me to use it each day, especially as I wash dishes without rubber gloves. This 30ml tube of hand cream by Naturecan was the perfect tool to test out next, so read on for my full review.

What Are The Main Ingredients?

First of all, the number one reason this is a premium hand cream is the inclusion of 100mg of CBD. I got around 10 uses from this hand cream, using around 3ml each time, which would work out as 10mg of CBD, however this is all dependent on how much you use, as I might have been overly zealous with my application.

Beyond cannabidiol, this hand cream also contains aloe vera, shea butter, cocoa butter, avocado oil, sweet almond oil, as well as a number of oils, including sunflower, orange and bergamot. The packaging highlights a presence of Vitamin E, but I can’t see the exact quantities on the website.

Why Include Avocado Oil?

As mentioned just above, the packaging highlights Vitamin E as being present in this hand cream, while avocado oil could be one of the main reasons why, being stacked full of it. Avocado oil has long been renowned for its ability to moisturise the skin and thanks to the levels of oleic acid it is believed to also help promote collagen production. This is important as collagen is the part that provides skin elasticity and reduces wrinkles, preventing our skin from sagging, but it decreases over time.

Why Include Cocoa Butter?

When you apply cocoa butter, it forms a protective layer over the top of your skin, preventing moisture from leaving, thanks heavily to the high levels of fatty acids. This helps to prevent oxidative stress and nourish the skin. It’s also believed to help prevent against the skins number one enemy, the sun’s UV rays.

Why Should I Use A Hand Cream?

Think about your daily routine, how many times do you use your hands? What are you touching? The fact you don’t have much excess sebum on the hands is the lack of sebaceous glands to produce them, meaning your hands can dry out quickly.

By using a hand cream every day, you can help to keep your hands soft and looking younger for longer. The hand creams are carefully formulated to contain ingredients that will help to repair damaged hands and bring moisture back to them.

A hand cream can often help out your nails as well, as an added bonus, helping them to stay stronger and healthier.

How Did You Find It?

I liked it. It rubbed in well and didn’t leave a greasy residue or leave my hands overly shiny. I found my calluses seem to recover (which I get from weight training, but I never really try to solve). It became a natural part of my post shower routine.

The scent wasn’t overly strong, however I oddly could smell the orange more than any other ingredient, thanks to the citrus aurantium dulcis, or as we all know it, orange peel oil. I wasn’t expecting orange to be the most notable aroma and it was a nice surprise.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can purchase the Naturecan Restore CBD Hand Cream from their website for £18. You might also want to have a read of my review of the Naturecan CBD moisturiser.
