I have actually really enjoyed using both the Naturecan CBD hand cream and CBD moisturiser, so I was more than happy to move on to the next item in their beauty range with the multi-use balm. This topical item, packed full of natural ingredients, is vegan friendly, much like many other products within their range.

How Much CBD Do You Get?

A single 30ml tube contains 100mg of CBD. The amount you get on each use depends on how much you apply, being between 1-3ml, which would work out as between 3.3mg and 10mg of CBD.

What Are The Main Ingredients?

The most notable ingredients are olive oil, coconut oil, CBD, aloe vera, soybean glycerides, shea butter, avocado oil, chia seed oil and jojoba esters, amongst the long list. You can find a full ingredients list breakdown on the Naturecan website.

I could dive into deep levels of details about each ingredient, but I’ve covered many with the other Naturecan products, so I’ll focus on the ingredients that make this product unique.

Why Include Chia Seed Oil?

As with many of the ingredients in this product, it works wonders as a moisturiser. However, the difference between some of the other ingredients is that it is thanks to the large quantity of fibre, which manages to pull water into the skin. In turn, not just does this help with tackling dry skin, but has also been shown to help reduce the signs of wrinkles or fine lines.

Chia seeds have been spoken about in the media as a superfood, thanks partially to the high levels of zinc and Vitamin B3, however this also brings skin health benefits, such as helping with oily and clogged pores with excess sebum.

Why Include Soybean Glycerides?

Soybean glycerides are packed full of antioxidants, which help to fight off free radicals. They’re also talked positively about for their anti-ageing skin benefits, thanks to isoflavones. Eating soy will supposedly help with reducing puffiness and clearing pores, while topical application to the skin has shown similar results.

Why Include Jojoba Esters?

I have begun seeing jojoba almost everywhere recently! Jojoba esters work as an emollient, which means it softens or sooths the skin, much like you would find with a body lotion. This has also been shown to increase when combined with glycerin.

Jojoba esters are actually incredibly similar to the natural oils your body produces, while they also have a very high oxidative stability. On top of this all, they also have both antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. They also have shown signs that they can help heal wounds, including scar reduction.

How Do I Use The Nourish CBD Multi-Use Balm?

Open the top carefully (make sure not to be squeezing the tube at the time of opening) and place a small amount on your fingers.

Rub it in a circular motion into the area of skin you want to focus on, whether that’s an aching muscle with needs some TLC, or an irritated area of skin, or perhaps some dry skin such as your hands or elbows.

Make sure not to apply it to an area with an open wound and to keep it away from your eyes.

Where Can I Buy This From?

You can purchase the Naturecan Nourish CBD Multi-Use Balm from their website for £20.
