naturecan hydrate moisturiser

I use a moisturiser every single day after washing, so I’m always more than happy to test out and review one for the blog! Last week I tested out the Naturecan Hydrate Daily Moisturiser each morning after my shower and have included everything you need to know about the product below. For anyone after a vegan moisturiser, this one will do the job, as some moisturisers do actually contain gelatine.

What Does This Moisturiser Contain?

First of all, the main ingredient and the reason why you’ve opted for this product, a 30ml tube of Hydrate moisturiser contains 100mg of CBD. On top of this, the other key ingredients are aloe vera, shea butter and hyaluronic acid. The other ingredients you will find are squalane (derived from squalene), cocoa butter, hemp seed oil and avocado oil.

Why Does It Contain Aloe Vera?

A common ingredient in skin treatments, aloe vera can help to soothe the skin against any irritations. The plant has also been shown to help prevent dark spots, while it is also highly effective at tackling acne, especially if you have scars from acne. Adding moisture to the skin, the aloe vera will help to tackle dry and flaky skin.

Why Does It Contain Shea Butter?

Shea butter will help to soften the skin, thanks to the presence of vitamins and fatty acids. Shea butter has a number of healing properties, regularly included in moisturisers and body lotions to help nourish dry and cracked skin.

An added bonus is the scent shea butter has, which I’m quite a fan of. Many people call shea butter a ‘skin superfood’, so what other reason would you need for its inclusion?

Why Does It Contain Hyaluronic Acid?

It might sound confusing adding an acid to a moisturiser, but hyaluronic acid is a great ingredient, perfect for tackling those pesky fine lines and wrinkles

In fact, hyaluronic acid is famous for adding a plumping effect to the skin, while some studies have shown it can help to increase skin cell production. This is a brilliant ingredient to add radiance to your face and to help moisturise the skin.

How Do I Use It?

I would recommend first cleansing the skin, unless you’ve just had a shower. Your next step should ideally be using a serum and rubbing it into the face, before using the Naturecan Hydrate moisturiser. This is because moisturiser covers the skin and if you put on the serum afterwards, it would struggle to be absorbed into the skin.

Rub a pea sized amount into your face and add more if needed.

Warning: be careful when opening and squeezing the tube. When I first opened it, as it is packed to the top, it shot out on the first use. This didn’t happen any time after the first usage, but it is worth being aware of, as you don’t want to lose any.

Where Can I Purchase This From?

You can purchase the Naturecan Hydrate Daily Moisturiser with CBD from their website for £25, or if you get 2 then you can benefit from the free delivery in the UK.
