elitemii cbd balm

Today I’m reviewing the fourth product by Elitemii, after the CBD capsules, massage oil and CBD oil. I’ve applied the balm twice a day for a week for this review, while it became a natural part of my routine by the end of the week.

The Packaging

One of the things I loved the most about this CBD balm was the beautiful silk slip it came in, it just oozed class and quality, highlighting the extra care they put in to each order.

Why Use A CBD Balm?

I workout four days a week and ache like hell half of the time, so this can help control inflammation of the muscles. The quicker you can recover, the quicker you can train again.

But it’s not just people working out, may people suffer from chronic pain and this can be a great tool to help them. It’s not just muscles, the CBD balm can help heal and soothe your skin.

It will bring moisture to the area and eliminate dryness. Part of the reason for its ability to tackle dryness is down to the inclusion of essential fatty acids omega 3 & 6. The added oil to the skin also will help to reduce the visibility of wrinkles.

Despite it stating otherwise, it should be highlighted that this isn’t a vegan friendly balm, as it contains beeswax. It is vegetarian friendly, as no animals have died, but it doesn’t qualify as vegan as they believe that by using beeswax you are ‘utilising their habitat and resources’.

The balm is completely natural and organic, containing full plant hemp extract, virgin hemp oil, fractionated coconut, vitamin E oil & natural beeswax.

Why Include Beeswax?

I used to work in the beauty industry back in the day and many balms used beeswax as it was amazing at helping to seal the moisture into the skin and hold it there. It’s also great for soothing dry, cracked areas, hence why it is commonly found in lip balms.

Beeswax has been known to help replenish wounds due to its anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also high in Vitamin A.

How Do I Use It?

Before applying the Elitemii CBD balm, you should quickly wash the skin and dab it try with a towel. Place a small amount on your fingers and then rub it into the targeted part of the skin in a circular motion.

You should try to do this for a good 20 seconds to allow it to properly sink into the skin. Ideally, you would then cover the area of skin, say with a bandage, but I didn’t actually do this.

Where you apply it is down to you, I tried it on my fingers (near the finger nails), on my elbows (a typical dry area) and also on my lips. Many people apply it to their face, especially if they suffer from blemishes or eczema, while others may put it on their feet, back and neck. Obviously, if you have a negative reaction at all, stop using it immediately and seek advice, but I didn’t have any issues at all.

Where Can I Buy This From?

The Elitemii CBD Balm is available for £15.99 from their website, while you can also get 10% off with the discount code ‘TOMBOURLET’, with free standard shipping on all items to UK addresses. It comes in a 30 gram tub, which is actually quite a bit more than most CBD balms you’ll find.

The 500mg of CBD is also higher than many other options on the market, such as the 300mg in the Truverra CBD Balm.

Being based in Brighton, I have directly witnessed the CBD industry grow and prosper, albeit witnessing the difficulties around legislation and the lack of transparency. I therefore decided to become a neutral viewpoint offering genuine reviews, advice and guidance.
